After a pause of more than two months, south China's island province of Hainan allowed land sales to resume on April 1st. In the past ten days, nine pieces of land with a total area of 360 thousand square meters were sold within the province. The prices were much higher than before, with the largest surge nearly 90 percent. Most of the properties will be developed for business and tourism use, with one piece of land to be used for residential units.
