Hainan gov't attaches great importance to International Tourism Island

At the conference of the Standing Committee of Hainan Province on Feb 9, it was announced that building an international tourist island is important for Hainan to transform the economic growth mode and realize scientific development.

Hainan government attaches great importance to the construction of the Tourism Island which will enhance the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of the province, strengthen the confidence and determination that Hainan government will transform the economic growth mode, and further clarify future work of Hainan government in 2010.

In 2010, Hainan Province officials will work to transform the economic growth mode, protect the environment, focus on developing modern service industry especially tourism, develop new industries and high-efficiency tropical agriculture, implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, and make sure the building of Hainan International Tourism Island is efficient and successful.
