It was a wonderful experience to relax on the Great East Sea beach in Sanya last February.

This area boasts some of the most recent hotel novelties in the wintertime resort, and the Westernized, tropical style of the holiday complex made every angle seem like a great escape from reality.
I loved my room. The French-style window before the spacious massage bathtub led my sight straight to the beach and the blue horizon at far end. Even the foot of my bed was a panoramic view of the sea, making me feel totally refreshed when I woke up each morning.
I also enjoyed the hotel's swimming pool, surrounded by a garden growing orchid blossoms.
When we stopped to swim, we exchanged small talk with tourists at the tropical style cafes and bars.
I booked the luxury hotel in advance through a local travel agent. With partnership deals, a scenic view suite is about 5,000 yuan for a three-night stay. Even luxury hotels try to attract tourists after the peak season of the Spring Festival holiday.
It's a great deal for anyone who enjoys a slowed-down life.
