"On 51-day countdown of the forum, it is time to get fully prepared for the forum. Hosting the forum is the very beginning to the construction of Hainan international tourist destination. All the staff involved in preparation shall feel a sense of urgency and responsibility," Tan stressed. "The forum will be hold regularly at the same venue to attract the elites from all walks of life. It will become a great platform for Hainan to go global."
"The current big concern is to invite guests especially professionals and those at high positions," Tan indicated. The preparation work also involves:
•Forum materials compiling and printing;
•Draft writing of the whole procedures for the forum;
•Forum venue decoration and forum party planning;
•Meeting service and security;
•Forum promotion and reporting; and
•Financial management.
In Several Proposals on Carrying forward Development of Hainan International Tourist Island, it is clearly stated that Hainan shall establish a well-known international brand of exhibition by hosting activities such as Boao International Tourism Forum.
