Situated about 30 km to the west of Baoting County, Maogan Qianlong Cave takes its name from the village in which it is located. The cave, which is 440 m long and 20 m wide, is the largest of its kind in Hainan Province, providing visitors with a selection of stalagmites of various shapes and sizes. It is double-layered with six cave halls in different sizes upstairs and galleries of different widths downstairs. Near the cave is a bathing pool, two meters deep with water so clear that the fish swimming in it are easily found.
