Shenzhou Peninsula is 30 kilometers to the south of Wancheng Country. On the east of the peninsula is Niubiao Hill, on the south the South China Sea, on the west Laoye Sea Port and on the north is Dongwo Port. Apart from Niubiao Hill, the peninsula is a plain. Facing the sea, it has plenty of rainfall every year. The average temperature is 27℃.
The peninsula is covered by forest and beach. It’s crystal clean. Eight wells are discovered on the peninsula. The most amazing view is the different shapes of stones such as cock stone, fish stone, etc.
In September 2005, CITIC Pacific signed a contract with Wanning Municipal Government to invest 10 trillion yuan to develop Shenzhou Peninsula as an ecological tourist resort, with a construction cycle of 10 years.
