Relax in Haikou

Night time is the right time for getting out for relaxation under a myriad of colored lights in bustling Hainan. After a fine dinner in one of the many hotels and restaurants, visitors can step out onto the dance floor at a club or take their turn with the microphone at a karaoke lounge located at the hotels or in the growing number of bars and clubs to be found in Haikou, Sanya and elsewhere. An evening out on the town or at a poolside or even a beach barbecue can be the perfect cap to a memorable tropical holiday. Haikou has many bars and clubs around the city. One of the main bar areas is on the north of Heping Road in Haidian. There are at least ten bars along the road. The bars normally stay open as long as customers are there and a can of local beer costs just 5 RMB. Careless Whisper and Red's pub are frequented by local expats. Some popular clubs are Allen Bar, located in Guomao area, and 66 Bar.
