Daxiao-dongtian Scenic Spot

Beach, sun, caves, verdant mountains and bizarrely-shaped stones constitute the beautiful landscape of the 22.5 square km Daxiao-Dongtian Park. This park is situated on Yazhou Bay, which is 40 kilometers west of Sanya. The park was well known as a scenic spot during the Song Dynasty some 800 years ago. It is a perfect place to appreciate the spectacular sunset on the beach amid ancient rocks that have witnessed the passage of so much history.
This tourism zone serves as a screen to the southern part of Sanya along with Nanshan culture tourism zone in the foothills of Nanshan covered with lush vegetation to create an elegant landscape. It has been given the title of ‘No. 1 mountain and sea of Hainan’ for its special sea view, typical mountain landscape, as well as beautiful rocks.

2) Daxiao-Dongtian Scenic Spot provides a free bus service.
a. Departure from Summer Store at 0900, stopping at the station of Pearl Square at 0930, and reaching Daxiao-Dongtian Scenic Spot at 1040.
